IT Support Engineer

We have a heads-up opportunity for an IT Support Engineer that will assist ICAP Group’s Users with everyday problems and perform 1st level IT troubleshooting procedures. The position requires strong will for learning and personal development, responsibility and appetite to work.

 

Responsibilities:

The right candidate will join End User Helpdesk Support in the Groups IT Department. The role requires management and administration of PCs (Endpoints) remotely and on-site. He/She will receive “ICAP Groups Users” daily IT problems and will assist them until resolved. He/She is responsible to maintain all endpoints in perfect health, support users and report in Weekly intervals. In addition, He/She will also be responsible for Active Directory Housekeeping and Central Consoles (Antivirus Console, IBM BigFix Management Console)

Job Requirements

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Degree in Computer Science, IT or relevant field.
  • Experience in Technical Support in MS Windows environment is desirable
  • Knowledge of MS Windows 7/10 installation and maintenance,
  • Knowledge of Active Directory Concepts.
  • Good knowledge of English Language
  • Team spirit
  • Good communication skills
  • Problem solving skills
