ICAP Executive Search on behalf of its client, one of the largest automotive dealerships in Greece, is seeking for an experienced individual to cover the position of ICT Manager.

ICT Manager (4480/ITM/ESS/GR)

The Role:

  • Establish and direct the strategic and tactical goals of the ICT department to ensure alignment with the Company.
  • Develop, enhance and implement policies and procedures for the information and communication technologies department.
  • Evaluate and determine the Company’s long-term system needs and propose hardware/software/communication solutions by informing the company’s management about new developments and propose a resources effective plan for their possible application.
  • Organize the company’s presence in the web and social networks in cooperation with the company’s management and other departments – and possibly outside vendors.
  • Assume the human resources responsibilities of the department including structuring and directing current staff, proposing pay and bonus structures, recruiting employees and training and developing current staff.
  • Maintain security of all data proprietary to the Company’s business and establish and administer business continuity, data integrity, disaster recovery, and incident response plan for all systems, applications and data.
  • Identify user needs, resolve problems and direct MIS team to provide employees with top quality, consistently available computer service, support training and maintenance of all computer systems used throughout the company.
  • Organize the training of company personnel in the use of ICT systems and the contact of the Company in ICT matters with its partners, dealer and associated firms’ personnel.
  • Design, establish, and maintain a network infrastructure for local and wide area connectivity and remote access.
  • Participate in the completion of contract negotiations and renewals with General vendors and suppliers to establish and track ROI activities.
  • Prepare and develop department annual budgets and administer funds according to budget approval.

 

Job Requirements

  • BSc degree in Computer Science or Information Systems Management. Advanced degrees strongly preferred. Degrees in relevant fields (e.g., mathematics) will also be considered.
  • 10+ years’ work experience in a trade company (preferable in the automotive sector). Equivalent combination of education and experience leading ICT strategic initiatives for all phases of computer operations will also be considered.
  • Experience with Hands On, on AS400 environment, IBM Domino, IBM Tivoli, IBM DB2, MS windows.
  • Full Understanding of CISCO, Checkpoint, F5 Balancers, VMWare, IBM V7000 storage
  • Strong understanding of public accounting firm operational programs.
  • Ability to prioritize, organize, analyze and solve problems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong leadership, decision-making and time management skills.
