ICAP Executive Search, on behalf of its client, a leading firm in the Credit Insurance market, is looking for a qualified and driven sales professional for the position:

Commercial Advisor (ref. 4409/CA/ESS/GR)

The Role:

The Commercial Advisor will identify, manage and develop potential opportunities in target markets to ensure the achievement of sales targets, contributing ultimately to the development of business in Greece.

Main Tasks:

  • Identify prospect client companies directly or through the intermediary of a network of brokers.
  • Manage development and retention of existing customer relations by assessing their needs, with the aim of maximizing income growth and promoting company’s credit insurance solutions.
  • Develop and implement strategies and plans to ensure full market coverage of designated territories and clientele.
  • Monitor market development and competition activities to provide feedback and ideas for the development of new services/products.
  • Work closely with all company functions to develop new opportunities and new services/products customized to clients’ needs.
  • Provide guidance and act as a consultant to the client regarding credit insurance matters.

Job Requirements

Qualifications & Skills:

  • University degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or other relevant discipline. Post graduate degree will be considered as a plus.
  • Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in sales in the Credit Insurance market. Alternatively, proven experience in the Factoring, Corporate Banking, Bancassurance areas is required.
  • Fluent in English and fully PC literate.
  • Knowledge of the French language will be considered an asset.
  • Ability to organize, analyze and interpret data to reach sound decisions.
  • Results and business-oriented.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated and trustworthy.
  • Ability to travel.
